Elland: Faces & Places – Photography Workshop 02/08/2025 10am – 11am
As part of the ‘culturedale’ celebrations we are running a small number of photography workshops in Elland, Calderdale, West Yorkshire.
Our photography workshops will teach group members the skills they need to take amazing photographs.
Some of the images will feature in our Elland: Faces & Places – Exhibition in Autumn 2025.
On 2nd Of August at 10am we will meet at a location just a few mins walk from Elland town Centre and for an hour we will be taking photos of monsters.
This is an in person session which is one hour in duration. This session will take place outdoors so please dress for the weather.
Elland – Photographing Monsters: Is a young persons photography workshop aimed at children aged 6 to 10 years. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
During the session we will learn about “Depth Of Field” and will take photos of toy monsters in various settings.
Parents are encouraged to work with their children through the workshop.
If you have a camera please bring it along (make sure it is charged and has a memory card etc..) otherwise we have a few that could be used during the session. Any camera, including phone cameras can be used but for best results bring a dslr camera if you have one.
Places are limited to six children and are being provided free of charge thanks to a grant – thanks to Calderdale MBC, The Leap, Culturedale, Creative People & Places and Arts Council England for making this possible.
We will email people who have signed up further details nearer the time.
Any questions please send to info@kinda.org.uk.
