Photography Workshops For Young People

Photography is all around us and it has never been more popular.

During our workshops you will learn: 

  • How to use a camera.
  • What aperture size, shutter speed and iso are.
  • Lighting
  • Composition

All youth training workshops are  delivered by qualified instructors who are DBS checked. 

More youth focused photography workshops are being planned for 2025. They will be delivered in person at locations in Calderdale and Kirklees. 

The workshops are two hours long and young people must be accompanied by a responsible adult. 

The workshops suitable for beginners and are designed to help young people think about their craft, to improve their observational skills and their technical proficiency. 

Students are welcome to bring their own camera, or use our equipment.

Motorcycle Photography Workshop

Richard and professional  Aimee (as seen on TV) have teamed up to bring you the opportunity to book a motorcycle photoshoot.

The photoshoot will be in a public place in the Halifax Area (HX5 postcode) on Sunday 24th August 1530 to 1730 (3:30pm - 5:30pm) - I can arrange a studio in HD5 for an extra fee.

The price is £125 and for this you get exclusive access to the motorcycle and model Aimee for two hours. If you need them, we will also have a selection of speedlites (manual), stands, umbrellas, reflectors, radio triggers that you can use for the photoshoot and Richard can help you set them up and  be on hand to be your assistant and move the bike around etc..

Who: You as photographer, Talented professional model Aimee Louise. I’ll also be on hand to help lift, carry and hold things as required.

How Much: The session is 2 hours long and the price is set at £125.

What’s included: Hire of motorcycle, hire of professional model, use of lighting equipment, Richard as helping hand, public liability insurance and risk assessment.
